KAKI Consulting

The Dream Team

  • Glass File: Fine grit 180: Shapes nails without creating micro-fissures.
  • Cuticle Pusher: 2-in-1 tip: Gently pushes back cuticles and cleans under the nail.
  • Glass Buffer: Mirror finish: Smooths ridges and instantly makes bare nails shine.

Your 3-Step "Prep" Routine

  1. File (Shape): Start with the sides of the nail, then finish with the top to harmonize the shape. Golden rule: always file in the same direction to avoid weakening the keratin layers.
  2. Push Back (Clean): Use the tip of the cuticle pusher to clean under the nail. After applying an emollient, use the flat, beveled tip to gently push back cuticles.
  3. Buff (Shine): Make back-and-forth movements on the nail plate. In a few seconds, the surface is smooth and shines as if you had applied a top coat!

KAKI advice

For particularly fragile nails or nails prone to splitting, don't just file the edge. Lightly file the underside of the nail edge (tilting your file downwards). This removes small keratin residues that "dangle" and prevents the nail from snagging and splitting at the first impact.
