French plum oil, for what skin type?

What are its virtues and actions on the skin?

Thanks to its high oleic acid content (75%), Aquitaine plum oil is naturally:

• Lipid-replenishing, it nourishes the skin deeply and restores suppleness and elasticity to skin lacking nutrition.
• Protective and antioxidant, it protects the skin from the harmful effects of pollution thanks to its high concentration of vitamin E: 700 ppm of tocopherols, or 15 mg of vitamin E per 100 grams of oil!
• Emollient, it limits water loss and preserves natural hydration thanks to essential fatty acids which strengthen the hydrolipidic film.

The plums are grown and harvested in Aquitaine, according to the specifications of French Organic Agriculture. This is a specific plum variety, the Ente plum, which, once pitted and dehydrated, becomes an Agen prune. Once collected, the pits are cold-pressed to produce vegetable oil: this is what is called the recovery of co-products.
