What are its virtues and actions on the skin?
The real advantage of hemp oil is its content of essential fatty acids, namely omega-3 and omega-6. Freshly produced in Brittany, it is:
- Emollient, linoleic acid limits water loss and protects against skin dehydration.
- Regenerating and revitalizing, linoleic acid present at more than 50% nourishes in depth and maintains the elasticity of tissues by participating in cellular regeneration.
- Soothing, the presence of alpha-linolenic acid provides soothing properties, beneficial for skin prone to redness.
Hemp is grown in the "Grand Ouest" region, which includes Brittany, Normandy, Pays-de-Loire, the former Poitou-Charentes, and Centre-Val-de-Loire. The seeds, once harvested, are cold-pressed by a Breton company.
